Needs Updating

Since the latest IPhone update (Oct 2016) I have not been able to open this app. I have been please with this app up to now.

Bad ap

App worked on December 31 but doesnt open today. Save your money!

Wont go past initial screen

I bought this a few days ago, along with other apps, including aa to go & 12 step companion. All work fine except this odaat app, which will only open to the initial splash screen, but then when you "Touch screen to begin", it just goes away. No error, nothing. Hope they fix it soon.

Still no Meditations even though add indicates the app includes this program. Lack of response requires low rating.

Recent Crash

The app was crashing on Meditations as of Jan 1 due to a change in one of the sites it was pulling from. We had 100s of people come in for support and got exactly that, support. There are many people on here that flame the app without even checking with support. The app was updated on Jan 4th, and all is working as it should. Please always try and contact support before complaining. There are others on here that have flamed us for re-writing the 1st Edition Foreward. That is not the case. If you will read the 4th edition, it clearly says that the 1st Edition Foreward is not from the First Printing, the foreward included in the app is the First Printing version. Thanks for all the positive support. We appreciate it.

One Day At A Time

Had some issues with the first version of this app. Went online to Calidads website and followed the instruction. Customer service was out of the park awesome. Bob not only is prompt but he is also curtious and kind. This updated app works flawlessly. I think that it is sad that Hazelton feels the need to charge for their app. The info is available for free on the web. Kudos to you Bob. Great job!!

Works for me!

First version was great. Update had a problem but the customer service was excellent and now works fine...

Awesome Recovery Tool!

So great to have a tool like this at my fingertips! The ability to instantly find topics satisfies this alcoholic who still struggle with patience after 14 years of sobriety! Love having the prayers and promises so easily accessible. For less than the price of a beer I have the wisdom of AA wherever I go without lugging around books. I find myself pulling it out during the day for a quick re-charge. Momentary problem with meditations at the beginning of the year, but customer support got back with me immediately and Ive had no problems since. Im so happy to have this app in my sobriety took kit!! A must-have for anyone in recovery.

I love this app! The meditations are great and access to Big Book and 12&12 is really helpful when Im a a meeting or a study, I keep my Ipad with me but dont carry the Big Book with me, now with this App I have it with me wherever I go. Very nicely done.

Great App for sobriety tools and connections!

I especially love the friends section. All my program contacts in one place with birthday reminders at my fingertips! The search option is great for a Big Book lover like me!

Chapter column irritation

Help! How does one eliminate the split screen? Will hold on rating pending answer.

Missing key sections of fourth edition

Acceptance - I guess I just have to accept it

Granted me the serenity

Thank you for this app. Anywhere, anytime I can reference my support system, restart my day with prayer and meditation and get on with .....my sober life! 28 years in the rooms and this app helps keep my "ism" in its place.

I was forced to give app 1 star, otherwise review would not be sent.

I take great offense with todays Daily Encounter. Roe vs Wade has nothing to do with AA. Obviously your ego got in the way, and you are pointedly not familiar with Traditions 5, 10 or 12. I am deleting this app and will not be supporting your future apps. Karen K. ----------------- Please Do Not Delete These Lines: Please describe the issue you are having above. (You can change the subject to whatever you want) ODAAT Version = 4.2 OS Version = 4.3.1

What happened?

After I updated this months ago it fixed the app from closing every time I clicked on the meditation tab. Now its doing it again. This app deserves a five star rating when it works but its not anymore. Ive deleted and reinstalled, the app is up to date. Now what?

Nice big book app

I like that you can highlight passages

Not AA approved literature!!

The meditations are not AA approved. Although I still sometimes find them useful, the"daily encounter" is particularly troubling, as it is very explicitly Christian - using Bible quotes and prayers to Jesus. This is not in keeping with AAs key concept of finding a Higher Power of your understanding. Todays "meditation" took it to a whole new level, writing about maintaining the sanctity of marriage and about the blasphemy of gay marriage. As a happily married lesbian AA, this was extremely offensive to me. One of my favorite things about AA is that there is no judgment about ones sexuality, religion, age, ethnicity, etc. In the rooms, we are all equal and there for the same purpose. Thank goodness I have spent enough time in the rooms not to be chased off by this garbage.

Great app

This is definitely a must for any alcoholic seeking sobriety. Worth the money. Highly recommend.

Permission?

When I open a chapter from the drop down, it opens up the text in the drop down only. The meditations are offensive at times. iTunes will be in touch with you soon about where you received permission to reproduce a copy written work for profit. I would like to know how much of the money goes to wso.

Good, but does not have everything that they day there should be

I can not highlight, no sobriety counter. 12 step companion probably is better
